The Newburgh Youth Showcase is a website dedicated to the creative work of the students of the Newburgh Performing Arts Academy (NPAA). NPAA is a nonprofit performing and visual arts school that provides services to 1,200 youth annually. NPAA has been devoted to providing pre-professional training, state of the art equipment and unprecedented opportunities to the youth in our community through its several pre-professional and after-school programs. The Newburgh Youth Showcase displays work from various ages and skill levels in performing and visual arts.

The Newburgh Youth Showcase has been designed to provide viewers with easy navigation. Youth work is categorized by program site, making it easy to navigate to a specific page of interest. Click on any of the tabs located at the top of the page to learn about a specific program and view completed works from current and former participating youth. Participate in polls located throughout the site that inform NPAA about what youth in NPAA programs like and would like to improve.

NPAA also has several social networking pages including Facebook, Myspace and Twitter, that can be joined through the Newburgh Youth Showcase website. Viewers can also become members of the Newburgh Youth Showcase site by creating a name and password that enables communication with other members of the Newburgh Youth Showcase. If you are a student in one of NPAA’s programs and would like to submit a completed work in art, photography, videography or music that you would like to have displayed on the site, please contact NPAA for more information.

If you are a professional in the visual or performing arts fields, a fan of the work, or interested in youth initiatives in the city of Newburgh, please feel free to comment below on the site or make comments on the individual youth work.
